In celebration of Black Music Month (June) AllHipHop and iTunes are giving away a Hip-Hop Playlist. There are 21 songs on the playlist that AllHipHop says:
The editors at AllHipHop.com have combed through dozens of songs from iTunes store to provide a diverse playlist that features popular Hip-Hop, conscious Hip-Hop and even spiritual Hip-Hop tracks.
And I will say for as much indie (independent – check back later I’ll have an article to explain what this means in more intricate detail) music that I listen to some of the songs I’ve never heard, so it makes receiving a gift, have more value.
You have artists like, KRS-One & Marley Marl (from their new album), X-Clan ft Damian Marley, Mac Dre, Dead Prez Presents M-1, J Dilla, and Lifesavas to name a few.
Personally, I loves, loves to be introduce to new music. The mainstream stuff is cool but I like the underground and less appreciated artists, they give you better quality music, and I think they take more chances, because it’s their music and there are no real restraints to how far they can go.
So, after I’ve put in my 2ยข on the matter…
The FREE playlist is available for the month of July. It is available as a one time thing, and spread the love- tell your friends about it. Who knows, if it has a positive turn out maybe there’ll be more offers and promos with AllHipHop.com and iTunes.
